IRIS’S OBSERVATIONS DURING AND AFTER THE SUMMIT IN AUSTRALIA
As someone who came as a watcher to the Prophetic Summit in Queensland from 7-9 January 2011 as well as to Australia in general, I would like to share a few of my impressions.
The River and the Flood
Before I came to Australia a personal intercessor shared a dream with us about our trip to Australia. She saw us on a journey by car through the land. We stopped at a sign “See the Ring River”. We were intrigued and wanted to see this river, but had to pay money for it (maybe symbolic of the money we paid for our ticket to Australia). When we came to the river, we were very disappointed as it was not a natural river, but it was a circle and manmade. A woman asked us for the payment and when I paid the required payment, my right hand shriveled and became deformed.
This dream caused great concern before we came, as we were not sure about the meaning. However after having come to Australia, we feel that God’s River in Australia has become a manmade circle, going round and round, and because of this, His right hand of blessing over Australia has shriveled and the biblical order of the fivefold ministry has become deformed.
Was the Flood in Queensland a picture of the breaking out of the manmade river in order to flow with His River? Was Toowoomba symbolic of the circular river the church has become?
Meaning of the Flood
Many people have been asking us about the meaning of the floods. We believe that we can look at it from different perspectives, but would like to share what the Lord has shown us.
For a long time the Lord has been speaking to us about the end time army He is preparing. Many years ago the Lord showed me in a dream that I was in the “womb of the church” together with many others. It was a safe place to be, where we could grow and mature until the time of birth would come. In 2008 He began to speak about entering into the narrow birth canal. Difficult times would come, but would lead to the birth of His army. I believe the summit in Queensland was meant as a summons where God was mustering His army (Is.13:1-8 has played an important role in my life as part of understanding the Masterplan of God). I am not sure if God was pleased with what He saw. However when the floods came, He compared them with the breaking of the waters in a pregnant woman. This could be about something being birthed in Australia, but I believe it is a more general word about the coming forth of God’s army at such a time as this, especially as there were more floods, in different place in the world.
The whole of creation is groaning and moaning and waiting for the revealing of the sons of God! (Rom.8:19 & 22)
Personal protection in the Flood
We were the last ones to leave the venue at Emu Gully (Helidon) after the Summit and meant to spend a night in Toowoomba before traveling on to Sydney. As we were driving towards the range in torrential rain, we saw a river beginning to swell at the side of the road. Traffic stopped and our friend Joy decided to make a U-turn in order to drive towards the sunshine and take the Pacific Highway instead. We didn’t get far, because we hit a pothole and had a flat tire. Straightaway someone drove up to help us fix the tire. We could have driven on and the flood might have caught up with us somewhere in the Lockyer Valley, but as we received a phone call that waters began to sweep through her house in Withcott as well, Joy felt we should stop by Emu Gully again, to see if we could get sandbags and also get a new tire. It was just as well we did so, because within 5 minutes of returning to the Warrego Highway in another friends 4WDrive, the road had already flooded. We have absolutely no doubt that God kept us from the raging waters.
This experience confirmed to us the words shared by someone at the Summit:
Gather yourselves together! Yes, gather together, you shameless nation, before the decree is carried out and the day passes like windblown husks, before the LORD’S burning anger comes to you, before the day of the LORD’S anger comes to you. Search for the LORD, all you humble people in the land who carry out his justice. Search for what is right. Search for humility. Maybe you will find shelter on the day of the LORD’S anger (Zeph.2:1-3).
We did find shelter, but the times the Lord is speaking about, still have to come! This is a call for Australia in order to find shelter when darkness will begin to cover the earth (Is.60:2). He also reminded us that as nightfall always comes to Australia first, this darkness too will begin in the east. (He will also hasten it in its time. v. 22)
Crossed hands over the earth
As we shared with at the summit how the Lord has stretched out His tallith (prayer shawl) over the earth through the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, He will one more time cross His hands in blessing over the earth. A decree is going out from the SE corner of the earth. Even though we came to Australia in the summer season of light and sunshine, we have seen a lot of darkness and rain, which ultimately caused the floods, especially in Queensland.
We believe God has said to us that His arm will be stretched out from Australia to Canada. We believe we need to also go there in the summer season. This will be a season of light for Canada. The longest day for Australia has passed, but the longest day for Canada is still coming. Because of her relationship with Israel, the light of Zion is still shining upon her.
From Queensland to Kingsland
After the Summit that was held in Queensland it became clear to me that spiritually as well as politically Australia has become a “queensland”, but needs to become a “kingsland”. Being a woman myself I know the dangers of becoming a “queen” before our time in the Kingdom of God. Many of us have become like Vashti, while we need to become like Esther. But worse, we have become like Jezebel, even some of our men. This spirit is trying to stop the prophetic voice of God, often in a very subtle way, as she abuses the prophetic anointing herself. I believe even during the summit we were misled by this spirit and missed what God was really saying to the church today. Therefore He is saying: But I have something against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet…. (Rev.2:20)
During our time here in Australia this word was confirmed at least four times, as at almost every service we attended 1 Kings 18 & 19 was preached from. (cf. Deut.17:6 & 2 Cor.13:1) We believe it is a word on a national level, which was confirmed by a word at church level, but the third time it was only mentioned and the seriousness of tolerating the woman Jezebel was ignored. However at the fourth occasion it was denied that such a problem existed at all. This gave us a real picture of the situation in Australia.
But the Lord also spoke and said: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”(2 Chron. 7:14).
What does it mean to be called by His name? Are we now all called CHRIST-ians? At the time of this call to repentance, the people of God were called ISRAEL, which means El(ohim) will prevail. Through His people God will show His victory. He is calling us once again by His name (Is.43:7). In the context of this chapter He is saying that “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you …..” (v.2)
Australia has passed through the waters and from being called Queensland is now being called by His name to become involved with the King’s Land.
Watchers and decrees
We came as watchers to Australia and we agree with the word that was also brought to our attention that decrees will go out from the watchers in order that the living will know that the Most High rules in the Kingdom of men (Dan. 14:7).
Perhaps there may be a lengthening of the prosperity of Australia, when you break off your sins by being righteous and showing mercy to the poor and come to know that Heaven rules and when you recognize that the time is at hand the saints of the Most High will receive the Kingdom.
