Macedonian calls
Just as Paul heard a voice in a dream “Come over” (but Europe) when he was still in Asia Minor, Iris received what she calls her first ‘Macedonian Call’ in 2009 : to Elcho Island and Milingimbi. Milingimbi is a large island off the coast of Arnhem Land, in the Northern Territory of Australia.
On that other island, Elcho, an Aboriginal woman had a dream before their arrival, in which she saw two women coming with a message about Ephraim. This was a special confirmation of our arrival there. Besides that, it was also an addition to what God had already revealed to them for the Yolngu tribe[1], as the people there are called.
A few years before their visit to Elcho Island, there was a revival, which became known as “Fire in the Outback”. That fire was taken to Alice Springs by the Yolngu leaders. Many Aboriginals then came to faith.
Two years later, from January 7 to 9, 2011, their second Macedonian Call followed at the invitation of Debra “to bring the message of ‘Judah and Ephraim,’ or the mystery of Israel, to the Prophetic Summit at Emu Gully [at Helidon Spa] and in Australia in general. Iris believed that this summit was meant to be a call where God was gathering His army, while she recalled a dream from 2008 about entering the narrow birth canal. Hard times were to come, but these were to lead to the birth of His army.
(The text of Isaiah 13:1-8 about the burden on Babylon, which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, had seen, has played an important role in her life, as part of understanding this part of His Master Plan!)
The first month was the state of Queensland in early December 2010 hit by a number of floods. In addition to Queensland, the states of Victoria and Tasmania were also at risk of flooding in mid-January 2011. Janny and Iris were very close to being swept away by a violent flood.
